Position Overview
Yicen Machining is looking for a results-driven CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate industry-leading CNC equipment to produce complex, high-tolerance components for critical applications in aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors. Your work will directly influence the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our entire production output. We’re seeking professionals who take pride in precision, thrive under pressure, and are ready to push the boundaries of craftsmanship.
Your Role in Action
As a CNC Machinist at Yicen Machining, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills to manufacture components according to exact engineering specifications. You’ll interpret technical blueprints and CAD models to generate efficient CNC programs. During the production process, you will perform consistent quality checks using high-precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure that every part meets our rigorous standards. You’ll be expected to troubleshoot equipment issues on the spot, minimize machine downtime, and ensure optimal performance across all machining operations.
In addition to operating equipment, you will select appropriate materials for each job and handle them with care to preserve dimensional integrity and surface quality. You will also play a key role in routine machine maintenance, ensuring that all systems run at peak performance. Collaboration will be essential, as you’ll work closely with engineers, quality control staff, and production leadership to support lean manufacturing processes and drive efficiency across the shop floor.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment. You must demonstrate proficiency in operating both mills and lathes, be comfortable interpreting GD&T, and have working knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to independently solve setup or tooling problems are essential. Attention to detail is non-negotiable—our clients rely on us for zero-defect output. You should be an effective communicator who can document production updates, flag issues, and collaborate fluidly with cross-functional teams. A high school diploma is required; technical certifications or vocational training in machining will be considered a strong advantage.
Why Work at Yicen Machining
At Yicen Machining, we believe that precision work deserves a precision-driven culture. You’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled facility equipped with the latest CNC machines from trusted brands like Haas and Mazak. Our compensation is competitive and includes overtime eligibility and performance-based incentives. We offer real upward mobility—whether you aim to become a senior machinist, programmer, or production lead. Our investment in your growth includes continuous training, on-the-job learning, and exposure to complex, high-spec projects that expand your skill set. If you’re someone who values integrity, ownership, and constant improvement, you’ll thrive in our environment.
